Jerusha began her doula journey in 2006, training through Childbirth International whilst living in Sydney. Soon after, she followed her heart to London where she worked for several years within the doula communities of Doula UK and Nurturing Birth. Furthering her training through numerous courses and workshops, and attending many births varying from homebirths to hospital, twin births (both home and hospital), vaginal breech births, caesareans (both planned and not so), medicalised births, water births, hypnobirths and everything in between, Jerusha gained invaluable experience in supporting families. She has since moved back to Sydney and continues to support women through their birthing journeys.

Alongside her birth work Jerusha also works extensively in a postnatal capacity with families, helping women and couples find their feet as parents. As a postnatal doula, Jerusha can assist you with non-judgmental emotional support, breast and/or bottle feeding support, settling and babycare tips, a safe space to debrief birth experiences, light household help, home cooked meals, running errands, and allowing you to get some much needed rest.

She can even act as 'security' on your front door, to help deal with all the well-wishers who want to come and have a sniff of your lovely new bundle- when all you really want is to lie on the sofa in your breastmilk stained nightie, sniffing your new cherub yourself.
